Mike Hanlon

Founder & CEO

Early in his career, Mike was employee #7 at Amazon.com, where he helped build one of the most successful companies in history. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Washington, and he was formerly a professor of global health at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.

Rich Krutsch

President, US Employer Business Group

Rich previously served as Vice President of People Services at ArcBest and Senior Vice President of Benefits Strategy at Stephens Insurance. During his time at ArcBest, he developed a machine learning analytics engine that reduced healthcare expenses. He holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Arkansas and serves on numerous national boards and advisory boards.

Kate Lofgren

Director, Health Economics and Outcomes Research

Kate Lofgren leads Abett's Health Economics and Outcomes Research Team. She holds a PhD in Health Policy from Harvard University and is a committee chair for the Society for Medical Decision Making. Dr. Lofgren previously led Health Economics at Foundation Medicine, a cancer diagnostics company.

Wndy Knox Everette

Chief Information Security Officer

Wendy Knox Everette, CISSP, is an accomplished software professional with prior experience at Amazon and Google. She graduated with honors from George Mason School of Law with a concentration in National Security Law and continues to serve as an adjunct professor. She was also a Fellow in privacy and computer security at ZwillGen PLLC. She has published several law review articles and co-authored a peer-reviewed article on FedRAMP in IEEE Security & Privacy and a computer security paper published in NDSS in 2020

Molly Hanlon

Vice President, Product Operations

Molly has been overseeing Abett Operations since the company was founded. She has a background in data analytics and data visualization. Prior to Abett, Molly had a career in the non-profit sector as the President of the Hanlon Foundation and as a fundraiser for many Seattle-based non-profits.

Director, Data Science and Data Engineering

Ryan's background is in consulting and early- to growth-stage start-ups. He focuses on enabling informed decision-making and innovation at the intersection of data and strategy.

Jonathan Brown

Vice President, Health Systems Business Group

Before Abett, Jonathan held various positions at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). While there, he helped build IHME's forecasting research team and established the Client Services group. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with various Fortune 100 companies to use data effectively.

Heather Wilson

Head of Legal

Heather has over twenty years of legal counsel experience in healthcare. She has worked for device manufacturers, IT vendors, hospitals, wellness providers, and insurance carriers. Heather also serves as Abett's Chief Privacy Officer, working with Abett’s CISO to ensure compliance with data privacy and security laws.

McKinley Smith

Vice President of Product

McKinley has worked for 10+ years at the intersection of product and healthcare. She has held leadership roles with biotech companies Checkerspot, Loyal, and Genentech. Before moving to biotech, she led strategy, operations, and communications across Pharma, Media, Global Public Relations, and Marketing organizations.
