Chief of Staff
Abett is hiring a Chief of Staff to support our operation and executive functions by building systems to help our team hold each other accountable.
Abett produces the Lockbox, a "software-as-a-service" for benefits, HR, and finance staff. We are an early-stage company, but already our customers include multiple Fortune 100 firms, and over a dozen Fortune 500 firms in total.
Abett is hiring a Chief of Staff to support our operation and executive functions by building systems to help our team hold each other accountable. Key responsibilities include:
Attending meetings on behalf of executive staff, notably the Chief Executive Officer; compiling meeting notes; and managing assigned tasks, as needed.
Collecting and compiling key performance indicators from across the company’s functions.
Assist in developing presentations, for internal and external audiences, including the board of directors.
“Gatekeeping” by assisting executive staff with communication, calendar scheduling and travel, as needed.
Compensation includes equity options. Abett is based in Seattle, Washington, but we are a fully distributed (remote) organization. Therefore, you can work from anywhere.
In the US, employers are key consumers of healthcare. Employers agree to contracts that dictate what care is available, and how much it costs.
However, employers have historically been passive consumers of healthcare. Abett helps employers become fierce consumers, which will lead to better care and lower costs.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
An ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and characteristics:
Professional experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to represent executive staff to internal and external audiences.
Strong understanding of financial accounting and investment concepts.
The inclination to listen before speaking.
